Updated: 2022-06-01

To meet the needs of enterprises in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) during the pandemic, the BDA has unfurled a set of measures to support these companies.

According to the measures, 210 million yuan ($31.37 million) in financial funds are expected to be invested to fight the pandemic, promote corporate development, and step up the area's coordinated development.

These measures propose to provide rent subsidies to key technology small and micro enterprises in non-State-owned commercial parks, characteristic industrial parks, and urban renewal parks in the leased area. It involves 39 non-State-owned parks.

In addition, these measures provide a one-time logistics subsidy of 0.2 percent to 0.5 percent for industrial enterprises above the designated size according to their output value in the first half of this year.

For enterprises above designated size that rent temporary warehouses in Beijing this year for emergency storage of spare parts production, a temporary storage subsidy at a maximum of 1 yuan per square every day will be given for up to 200 days.

The policy also, for the first time, clarifies items that companies can enjoy without application, and opens green channels for approval of major and key projects.
