In recent years, Beijing E-Town has taken the lead in building a highland for innovative and cutting-edge industries by pioneering and experimenting.

By the end of 2022, the entire area of 60 square kilometers, 329 intersections, and 750 kilometers of bidirectional urban roads in Beijing E-Town have achieved full coverage of vehicle-road-cloud integration. The demonstration zone has now entered the 3.0 phase.

Behind the launch of the world's first innovative drug for anemia, roxadustat capsules were not only a team's 20 years of hard work, but also enjoy the support of Beijing E-Town. 

After entering the area, FibroGen China began conducting phase II clinical trials of the capsules. In the research and development process, because there was no experience to guide them, they had to explore a path on their own. 

During an evaluation, Beijing E-Town specifically coordinated "face-to-face" communication and exchanges between the enterprise and the superior department and went to the enterprise to help address some urgent issues.

Beijing E-Town has now begun to strengthen communication and connection with the "three science cities" and promote cooperation with large institutes. 

Among them, the Yizhuang branch of the Global Health Industry Innovation Center (GHIC) has settled here  to build a full chain innovation platform for research, conversion, and industrialization in integrated circuits, biomedicine, and high-end automobiles. Companies such as Amitmed and Ciphergene have already established their presence here.

Meanwhile, the intellectual property protection and application system has also been continuously improved. 

Relying on the Yizhuang Branch of the Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Protection Center, a comprehensive service for the creation, application, protection, and management of intellectual property rights in Beijing E-Town has been established.

So far, Beijing E-Town has attracted and cultivated 562 specialized and sophisticated enterprises, 201 innovation small and medium-sized companies.
