Registration open for international forum

Data has become a strategic resource for the development of countries’ digital economies worldwide. It is proving to be a key productive factor and core driving engine. 

The "International Forum on Data Infrastructure," organized by the National Engineering Laboratory on Interconnection Technology for Next Generation Internet and Beijing International Big Data Exchange will be held on July 6 at the Chaolin Songyuan Hotel in Beijing.

As one of the special forums of the Global Digital Economy Conference 2023, the forum will be attended by top industry experts and international organizational leaders from China (including Macao Special Administrative Region), the United States, Germany, Luxembourg, and Australia. 

They will focus on how to build secure, efficient, and intelligent data infrastructure, provide effective technical solutions for global data circulation, and promote innovative development in the digital economy.

The theme of this forum is "Information Technology Empowers Data Circulation and Promotes Innovative Development of the Global Digital Economy."

Leaders from organizations such as the China Internet Association, the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA), the IPv6 Forum, the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC), and the Macao Digital Development Association, as well as experts from operators, enterprises, and universities, will gather to conduct in-depth discussions and share insights on hot topics related to data infrastructure construction.

In addition to keynote speeches, the forum will feature roundtable discussions of new technologies, practices, and trends in data infrastructure construction, cross-border data, and data sharing. 

International participants will provide constructive and creative suggestions for regional and industry development and stimulate the potential of global digital economy development through high-level exchanges and cooperation.

As an important part of the 2023 Global Digital Economy Conference, the organization of the International Forum on Data Infrastructure has received strong support from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology and the Beijing E-Town Administrative Committee.
