Have you discovered this sea of flowers in Beijing E-Town?

In the leisure and fitness area southwest of the Beijing E-Town Sports Center, the Persian chrysanthemums and cosmos flowers are blooming splendidly across nearly 10,000 square meters.

As you step into this space, a colorful sea of flowers comes into view. Flowers of white, pink, red, and yellow sway vibrantly on delicate branches, while butterflies and bees dance among them.

"When the flowers are in full bloom here, I often bring my grandson to stroll around and enjoy the scenery," says Mrs. Hu, a resident, as she walks along the flower path with her grandson, occasionally stopping to take photos.

The leisure and fitness area of the sports center is part of the initiatives taken by the Public Resource Management Service Center of Beijing E-Town to beautifying the sports venue.

The leisure and fitness area includes a gravel garden path, a windmill path for sightseeing, large windmills, a "piano," and a flower sea, among other popular spots. 

It's a pleasant place to dance, take children for a walk, and relax while enjoying the beauty and scent of the flowers.

In the first quarter of this year, the sports center procured approximately 140,000 Persian chrysanthemums and around 122,500 cosmos flowers, which were planted to the open space. Currently, the flowers are in full bloom.

"These Persian chrysanthemums and cosmos flowers are ornamental flowers with a long flowering period and vibrant colors. The flowering season starts from late May and lasts until early July," explained a staff member of the center.

The center plans to purchase seeds of marigolds, zinnias, cosmos flowers, and Persian chrysanthemums for the second season of planting. The center aims to enhance the beauty of the sports center and diversify the flower varieties in the area, ensuring beautiful scenery all year round for residents to enjoy while exercising and playing.
