The Pharmaceutical and Health Industry Eco-Integration Development Conference was recently held in the BSD Yizhuang Science and Technology Innovation Park.

During the conference, a series of agreements were signed, and the Biopharmaceutical Industry Elements Smart Convergence Platform was launched. This marks the opening and operation of the BSD Yizhuang Science and Technology Innovation Park, and adds a new landmark to Beijing E-Town for intelligent manufacturing of new medicines.

During the conference, the BSD Yizhuang Science and Technology Innovation Park introduced the Biopharmaceutical Industry Elements Smart Convergence Platform. 

This platform is built to serve the development of the main platform of the Beijing International Science and Technology Innovation Center's "Three Science Cities and One Hi-Tech Area" and the goal of establishing a global "Intelligent Manufacturing of New Medicines" industry hub in Beijing E-Town.

It aims to create an innovative chain, extend the industrial chain, and integrate service chains, focusing on dimensions such as "policy facilitation, cutting-edge technology, industrial investment, market access, and innovation in models," to build a new ecosystem for the pharmaceutical and health industry.

During the event, the park entered into strategic agreements with six domestic collaborating institutions to jointly build a medical and health innovation development partnership, marking the beginning of innovative services for the "Biopharmaceutical Industry Elements Smart Convergence Platform." 

In addition, the park also signed collective agreements with the first seven companies that have set up operations in the park.

Currently, Beijing E-Town is accelerating the development of a global "Intelligent Manufacturing of New Medicines" industry hub and has attracted more than 4,200 companies in the fields of biotechnology and the health industry, covering the entire industry chain from innovation research and development to technology transfer and industrialization. 

With the opening and operation of the park, the head of a subsidiary of BSD stated that, In the future, the BSD Yizhuang Science and Technology Innovation Park will focus on two major subfields: cell and gene therapy and high-end medical equipment. It will provide suitable innovative space and a complete support service system for technology companies entering the park. 

The focus will be on aggregating biopharmaceutical industry elements, optimizing value-added services, strengthening market innovation collaboration, and creating a benchmark biopharmaceutical park.
