The first and internationally leading innovative medical product robot metaFlow, independently developed by the Healingovation company in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), has successfully completed clinical trial surgeries for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in multiple medical institutions in China.

Over 100 clinical trial surgeries have been completed by metaFlow this year.

"The metaFlow is suitable for surgical treatment of patients with moderate to severe BPH, and it has multiple technological innovations such as multidimensional, real-time imaging planning, multi-axis coordinated automatic cutting, precise control of a high-energy non-thermal water jet and comprehensive monitoring of multimodal data," said Shi Yilun, chairman and CEO of Healingovation.

The metaFlow not only can reduce the surgical resection time from the previous 1 hour to around 5 minutes, it also effectively avoids thermal damage to surrounding nerves and tissues, reducing surgical risks and complications by using high-energy water jet cutting.

As a company rooted in Beijing E-Town, Healingovation a company in Beijing E-Town that was established in May 2021, currently has several specialized technical laboratories and production workshops, able to handle the research and initial production needs of multiple product lines.
