By 2025, Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) aims to nurture 100 new high-growth artificial intelligence dynamic enterprises with core competitiveness, and to see the artificial intelligence core industry scale exceed 60 billion yuan ($8.21 billion).

Beijing E-Town recently launched the AI-city "partner for opening scenes" recruitment plan to further promote the AI industry.

This plan will call for more industrial chain enterprises in the area to jointly explore the innovative applications of AI technology and create more demonstrative AI application scenarios.

In October, Beijing E-Town released the second group of demonstration application scenarios for artificial intelligence technology, including e-commerce, smart education, industrial design, intellectual property services, intelligent diagnosis and treatment, content security, production manufacturing, smart media, administrative approval and drug research and development. The cumulative release of order demand has exceeded 150 million yuan.

Through the AI-city "partner for opening scenes" plan, E-Town will provide a series of policy support measures to the participating enterprises, including discounts on rental of high-performance computing power, support for purchasing large models, multi-platform promotion and full-process guidance for national and Beijing municipal special project applications.

Meanwhile, Beijing E-Town has begun to build the "Digital World" artificial intelligence new quality ecological community to promote the rapid implementation of artificial intelligence applications.

Around the entire industry chain of artificial intelligence, Beijing E-Town is now attracting and nurturing projects related to foundational chips, software frameworks, industry models and data governance, and over 400 upstream and downstream enterprises have been accumulated as a result.
