Fifty more companies in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) have recently been selected for the list of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Beijing.

Innovative SMEs refer to small and medium-sized enterprises with strong innovative capabilities in products, technology, management and business models that focus on niche markets and show good growth potential. These enterprises, as the foundation of high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises, are an important force in promoting new industrialization and developing new quality productive forces.

The 50 newly-added enterprises in Beijing E-Town are active in multiple high-tech fields, such as biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing and new-generation information technology.

They align closely with the area's four major leading industries, future industries, and strategic emerging industries, fully reflecting the forward-looking and leading role of Beijing E-Town in technological innovation and industrial upgrading.

As the main base for high-tech industries in the Chinese capital, Beijing E-Town has always attached great importance to the cultivation and development of innovative SMEs. By building high-quality enterprise service platforms, providing comprehensive policy support and offering precise services, the area has been supporting enterprises to accelerate their growth.

There are now over 970 innovative SMEs in Beijing.
