Robots at Boda Park in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area

A robot-themed new year parade was recently held at Boda Park in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), creating the capital's first robot-themed park.

Bringing various types of robots such as humanoid robots, tea-serving robots and robot dogs face-to-face with citizens, this robot-themed new year parade has provided an immersive technological experience and dazzling performances, attracting many onlookers to take photos with the robots and interact with them.

In this robot-themed park, robots are no longer just cold tools on production lines or futuristic movie scenes viewed through screens; they have become active life companions present among people.

The "Tiangong" humanoid robot, independently developed by the National-Local Co-built Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, has achieved the world's first humanoid running powered by pure electric drive in full size. In the park, it waved its hands to greet people, attracting many children to walk along with them.

Meanwhile, the robotic dogs' agile movements and superb performance prompting people to take photos of them; UBTech's Alpha robot and the tea-serving robot that precisely controls the action of pouring tea also allowed people to experience the fascinating collision between technology and daily life through real-life interactions.

This event is not only a showcase of technology but also a vision of a better future life. It allows people to see how new technologies and applications can integrate into daily life, vividly presenting the solid strength of the robot industry development in Beijing E-Town.

Moving forward, Beijing E-Town will periodically arrange robot interactive experiences, as well as create a series of immersive and distinctive experience scenes around the three main functions of smart gardens, leisure and entertainment, and science education.
