Recently, the technology of "A Smart Street Light Control System and Method" developed by Beijing Digital Infrastructure Investment and Development Co, Ltd, in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), was granted an invention patent certificate by the China National Intellectual Property Administration.

The patent is based on the core controller hardware device, deeply integrating the business management functions of the Beijing Municipal Urban Furniture Integrated Management Platform, and creating a complete solution for the construction and operation control system of smart street lights.

With the acceleration of urbanization, smart street lights, an important part of smart city infrastructure, are gradually becoming a key lever to enhance urban management efficiency. This system provides intelligent upgrades in city lighting management, significantly improving the efficiency of energy utilization and greatly reducing the complexity of maintenance and management.

The patent covers nine technological innovations, not only further consolidating the company's technical advantages in the field of smart lighting but also laying a solid foundation for its leading position in the smart street light market.

In recent years, Beijing E-Town has continuously strengthened its intellectual property protection system and promoted the continuous growth of patent authorizations and the number of invention patents. By October 2024, the area had 26,166 valid invention patents, representing 41.2 percent growth compared with the same period the previous year.
