Strengthen dominant industries to boost high-quality development

In 2024, Beijing E-Town achieved a regional GDP of 364.93 billion yuan ($50.21 billion), with the total industrial output value exceeding 600 billion yuan. In this hotbed of innovation and entrepreneurship, the four leading industries of Chinese semiconductors, future vehicles, innovative pharmaceuticals and intelligent manufacturing, are closely interconnected, driving the development in the capital city.

Beijing E-Town has established the largest and leading artificial intelligence public computing power platform in Beijing, with 7,000P high-performance intelligent computing power in operation and a planned computing power scale exceeding 20,000P, providing strong computing power support for AI enterprises.

In the Xiaomi automobile factory, as the robotic arms swing, a new Xiaomi SU7 vehicle rolls off the production line every 76 seconds.

This is not only a "new landmark" in automobile smart manufacturing but also a microcosm of the billion-dollar automobile industry cluster in Beijing E-Town. In the high-end automobile and new energy, intelligent automobile industry sectors, E-Town has gathered leading complete vehicle makers such as Beijing Benz, BAIC New Energy, Xiaomi Automobile, as well as well-known domestic and foreign component enterprises like Hainachuan and ZF.

Meanwhile, Beijing E-Town made a new leap in biotechnology and the big health industry. The area has gathered nearly 5,000 various pharmaceutical and health enterprises. Its pharmaceutical and health manufacturing industry is nearly half of the city's total, making it the most concentrated area for that industry′s development in Beijing.
