In 2024, 11,343 new enterprises opened in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), a 28.6 percent year-on-year increase and marking the first time the area drew more than 10,000 new businesses within a year.

The Entrepreneurship Services Zone in E-Town provides not only in-depth consultations, one-on-one guidance and customized assistance for initial startup matters -- such as free office space handling and one-stop registration -- but also offers value-added services tailored to businesses′ specific needs, including guidance on entrepreneurship and opening, tax-related declarations and registration for corporate social insurance.

In 2023, Beijing E-Town introduced the "Nine Policies for Foreign Investment". Subsequently, an upgraded version of the "Nine Policies" was released, continuously improving policy support system for foreign enterprises.

Beijing E-Town focuses on optimizing the business environment for foreign investment by enhancing services throughout business' lifecycle, promoting industrial openness and innovating institutional mechanisms.
