Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area releases its industrial investment promotion policies on the 2025 Zhongguancun International Technology Trade Fair.

The Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) has recently released its industrial investment promotion policies on the 2025 Zhongguancun International Technology Trade Fair on March 28.

The fair has attracted 15 research teams from universities and research institutes such as Peking University, Tsinghua University and Beihang University, as well as over 70 high-tech enterprises, investment institutions and incubators, totaling more than 150 participants.

The industrial investment promotion policies announced during the fair have included nine major categories, providing services that cover the entire lifecycle of enterprises.

Focusing on technological innovation, Beijing E-Town has introduced Twenty Policies for Science and Innovation, covering various aspects such as technology breakthroughs, innovation platforms, business incubation, research and development investment, digital transformation and industry-academia collaboration. Last year, a total of 1.26 billion yuan ($173.38 million) disbursed, with the highest individual project receiving support of up to 100 million yuan.

Regarding the support of talents in high-end industries, the Ten Policies for Talent 2.0+ were formed and released, with an annual allocation of 10 billion yuan in funding.

At the same time, efforts have been made in giving to sector-specific policies, such as in the field of information technology, where several policies have been introduced to accelerate the development of an innovation hub for AI-native industries.

During the fair, aside from the announcement of the industrial investment promotion policies, four key projects were signed on-site and 15 excellent achievements of the National Natural Science Foundation were presented through on-site roadshows.
